One of my friend told me once, “You know what my dream is? I want to build an ecosystem of natural habitat and protect trees and animals.” I saw a passion in his eyes, and it didn’t take me much time to understand the level of passion and soul he has in achieving his life dream.
Two weeks ago, he called and told me, “I bought a large farm land back in my home country. This is a moment of happiness and pleasure for me. Even though nothing is done till now, I feel I have achieved something great in my life. Sijith, I am unable to express the happiness I feel when I feel that I am getting closer to see my mission being fulfilled. Even if the whole world mocks at me, I am going ahead to make my dream a reality.”
The thought that you are going to see the fruit of your hard work gives you a great sense of accomplishment. When your pals were busy in their own worlds, you choose to spend your time in realizing your dreams. When those whom you know mock at you for the silly dream you are pursing, you kept your patience and just smiled. You, and only you, know the self worth of your dream.
When the day arrives and you see what you just once dreamt off, you feel that you have achieved something in your life. The emptiness within you will be filled with extreme pleasure and happiness. You want to tell the whole world “This is the day I have been waiting for throughout my life. Today I have achieved my dreams. Today I have made my life ambition come true.”
Just for a second imagine that your dream is very soon going to become a reality, or today you have achieved something which you had always dream t of. Can you express the pleasure you feel in your heart?
To know how passionate you are about your goals, just imagine that you are asked to forget your dream. This challenge will serve the best to see how strong your passion is. If your dream is weak, we will never be able to achieve it.
I have personally experienced this happiness when I witness the fruit of my hard work becoming a reality. Success is the result of kindling passion within us to fulfill our dreams. People who achieved something great in their lives always had a vision and mission to follow and they were never satisfied with anything else than the visualization of their dreams.
Most of us have had some kind of dream. Dreams can range from anything that you feel is important to something your hearts wishes to achieve; something that will give you a sense of accomplishment. However silly those dream may look to others, you might not go a day without thinking about it. You work day and night to achieve it. You visualize in your mind the day when that dream will become a reality. Once you have that vision, then the pursuit of it makes you excited. It drives you forward. It makes your life a little magical and adventurous since you consider each day as a step towards realizing your goals.
Friends, let us take a goal that will kindle us to pursue and challenge ourselves to take the best of us.. Let us all have a dream, spend each day dreaming about it coming true, and do our best to pursue it until it becomes a reality.
We might fail. We might get thrown out the road. We might have our way completely blocked. But, when we have a great dream to pursue, the world want us to win. And with this great spirit backing us, we will once get our dream come true.
